Boarding

Our boarding facility at The People's Pets accommodates both cats and dogs.  Our canine friends are comfortably boarded on the main floor and our feline friends are boarded on our second floor both in climate controlled areas. If your pet is on a daily medication, No Worries!! Since we are a full-service vet clinic, we have technicians who can make sure that your pet's medications are administered for an additional charge. We require all medication to be in their original containers.

When it's time to have fun, we have options for our boarders as well... For our felines, we offer Happy Hour which includes playtime in a designated room with various toys. For our canine guests, you can choose from recess, which includes one-on-one playtime with our kennel attendants.  Also, you can add a extra walk for your dog in addition to the 2 walks which are included with their boarding. Treats are always welcome here, whether you choose for us to give our snacks or ice cream (for dogs only), or you can bring their treats from home for no additional cost. You can have any sequence of extra's for your pets: Everyday, Every Other Day, or just once while they're boarding. You can even rotate between any two (or) more choices of extras.

While boarding we offer all dogs Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry food and for cats we offer the Hill's Science Diet Adult original dry food.  We also have Hill's Science Diet canned food options available.  If your pet is fed a different diet, you are more than welcome to bring your pet's food from home, however there will be an additional cost.

Your pet MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED  in order to board at our facility. The only exception are if your pet is still receiving boosters, and if one or more vaccines have been waived by a veterinarian.  All dogs must be up-to-date  on their Distemper, Bordetella, Leptosporosis, Canine Influenza and Rabies vaccine which are required annually. All cats must have their Distemper, Rabies, Leukemia ( outside cats only) vaccine, as well as a Feline  Leukemia /AIDS test annually.
